  1. Is Aeronavigation Academy International (AAI) accredited? Yes, by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and we are licensed as an Aviation Training Organization (ATO).
  2. What makes you different from the other ATO’s out there? Our commitment in providing the safest possible training environment for students and staff. Our safety record is second to none and our ground syllabus goes beyond that of basic FAA requirements.
  3. What courses do you offer? We have the Professional Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-engine Rating (ME) and the Flight Instructor Course (FI).
  4. Do you guarantee jobs? No we don’t, however we do have contacts in the aviation industry and some of our recruiters have direct access to certain airlines. Some of our top students have also become our FI’s.
  5. Where can I get a job after getting a CPL? Private airlines, scheduled operators, flying clubs, corporate, government, charter providers, national carriers.
  6. What is your student to instructor ratio? We do our best to keep it at 5:1.
  7. What kind of simulator do you have? We have an Ascent B200 Simulator. We will have this operational in 2013. Currently, all Instrument Rating (IR) hours are actual flying.
  8. Do you provide housing and transportation? Yes, see the accommodations tab.
  9. Do you provide special assistance to foreign students?  Yes, we have a CAAP and Immigration liaison to assist you with these government agencies.

  11. Why AAI? Our ground education exceeds what is required by the FAA, padding of hours will not be tolerated, well maintained aircraft and impeccable safety record.
  12. What airplanes do you have? We have a Piper Aztec, Cessna 172’s and 150’s.
  13. Why Bacolod-Silay? Trainees have access to all of the navigation aids, instruments, runway and facilities of an international airport. Commercial traffic is minimal and access to the runway for training is almost immediate.
  14. How long will it take to complete my CPL? This is a one year program.
