AAI has stringent selection criteria for its students. This selection process includes tests in Math and Physics proficiency, a Personality Analysis Test (PAT) and a Pilot Psychomotor Skill Evaluation Test (PPSET). The selection process has been instituted not to be exclusive but to identify and ensure a candidate’s basic aptitude for aviation. We as an organisation, are morally responsible to you and the aviation community at large to ensure your suitability for aviation and advice you accordingly. We value your time and money. The professional approach to assessing your suitability for the testing profession of aviation ensures that you are in the right profession and your parent’s hard earned money is not wasted.

On receipt of your completed application, you would be informed about your test date, time and nearest centre. All prospective students need to provide AAI with 4 references of which two need to be academic and two may be of responsible adults (non family) who have known the student for period of time. This would enable us to get a complete picture of the student, which in turn would enable us to service each student better. However, if our background and security checks throw up data that is not consistent with standard practices of good living, AAI reserves the right to deny admission to any student on security grounds.
